NEO's activities of going Green:

NEO Zipper is greatly concerned of the environment and has particular activities of going GREEN. NEO is keeping eyes on the environmental requirements of buyers like WALMART, KMART, SEARS, TARGET, HBC, C&A, H&M, TESCO and more.
But we do not only stop there. We are continuously trying to improve our activities as to contribute to a clean environment.

NEO's basic activities circles around but doesn't stop at:

DISPOSAL OF WASTE:

I. Dyes, chemicals waste: NEO has effluent treatment plant which treats all and disposes clear water which is not harmful to the environment.

2. Brass dust: Brass dusts are sold in the local market where these are reused for manufacturing brass products. No dust is thrown into the environment.

3. Zipper chain: Zipper chain are sold into the local market where these are reused to make low grade zipper to be used for local low grade clothing, baggage etc. No chain is thrown into the environment.

4. Plastic resin powder: These are also sold into the local market to be reused to make plastic products. None is thrown into the environment.

5. Empty drums and cans: These are sold into the local market. Cleaned and reused. None thrown into the environment.

6. Reusing steam of dyeing from boiler to heat up plating chemicals.

7. Water Treatment Plant is available to get correct chemical balance of water for dyeing. This reduces the use of water and less wastage in dyeing.

REDUCING WASTE:

1. NEO has reduced the wastage from 3.5% to 2.0 % and now targeting 1.0%. This has significantly reduced the wastage of NEO and made the company more environmentally friendly.

2. NEO is now reusing the Bass dust by melting to be reused as anode for electro plating.

3. NEO is reusing water for cooling (water and air) system. So less water is wasted.

REDUCING EMISSION:

1. All NEO vehicles are run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). No emission is present.

2. NEO's boiler is run on CNG. So no emission is pesent.

3. Energy savings lights are replacing normal lights.

4. Proper and efficient use of electricity by using Power Factor Improvement (PF1), Auto Voltage Stabilizer (AVR), individual machine Voltage Stabilizer.
